MUSICAL WORKSHOPS MONDAY AUGUST 19th (10.30AM-ONWARDS) High school musical workshops (9am-4pm) running for five days. Young people can join in the workshops to learn how to put on a musical production from start to finish with a final performance on Friday, August 24. (A small charge will be made daily - to be confirmed). Digital Music and VJing with David McSherry and Jon Robson - Monday-Friday August 20-24 (9am-4pm). Musical Trip down memory lane (1pm-5pm) Bar and food available. Featuring the music of the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s perfomed by Johnny Pat and the Aces and the Frank Cleveland Orchestra.  |

CREATIVE FREEDOM An event for young people where they can get to take part ina wide range of creative workshops. Pop art workshops running 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm. Pop/Cabaret singing will run 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm. Set design for productions will be running 10am-12pm and 1pm-3.30pm. Face painting and theatrical make-up will run from 11am-12pm and 1pm-2pm. Break dancing and disco dancing will run from 9.30am-10.30am and 12.30pm-1.30pm with Street dance running from 10.30am-11.30an abd 1.30pm-2.30pm. Junk and Music drumming will run from 10am-12pm abd 1pm-3pm. |

HARDCORE NIGHT Freedom Hardcore held at the Freedom Centre outside in the open area. A night of Hardcore music featuring legendary scratchmaster DJ SY headlinging with local DJs Nitro, Whelshy, Speedy, H-double-D, and MC’s PDD, Wotsee, and Gomez. The night will be alcohol free yet open to all ages. Refreshements and hot food will be available on the night. So come along to the first Preston Road Rave and get your hands in the air. |
