Child Dynamix Childrens Centre

Child Dynamix aims to provide a quality and equitable family support service for children, young people and their families. In achieving our vision we will adopt the following principles:

* Being an affordable service, accessible to all.
* To be integrated with the community and to work in partnership.
* Our facilities will be safe and Child Dynamix will be a fun place to be.
* There will be quality in everything we do.

We offer a range of services and opportunities to the local residents of Preston Road and the wider city, predominantly working in the Southcoates East and West Wards. The activities and services we currently offer are; full daycare with education for children 0-5years, family support services, out of school care for 3-14yrs, open access play clubs for 5 - 12yrs, crèche facilities, holiday schemes, Play Bus activity sessions, Job Centre Plus, Childminder drop-in sessions, toy and book library services and our health colleagues also offer a wide range of child health services from our centre.

As of 1st April 2005 Child Dynamix became an independent organisation, formerly part of the Preston Road Neighbourhood Development Company (PRNDC), registering as a charity and a company limited by guarantee and on 2nd January 2006 we successfully achieved full designation as one of the first 8 Children's Centre's in the city of Hull

The activities and services we currently offer are: Janet Genter Community Nursery Find out more about our excellent facilities, a little about our history and why we are called the Janet Genter Community Nursery. We are open Monday to Friday 7.30am-6.30pm 51 weeks per year   Little Stars The Family Support team offers support to parents/carers in the privacy of their own homes or can work with families within the Children's Centre.   Play and Recreational Services Our play services aim to ensure that all children have access to a wide range of stimulating, challenging and responsive, high quality play opportunities, appropriate to their needs.   Out of School Childcare Quality after school childcare and play activities for children aged 3-14 years who are registered with the Out of School Clubs. Children will be collected from school each day and cared for in a safe, supportive environment.
