Aims

The aim of the community participation team is to offer varied support to both groups and individuals.  The type of support that we can offer ranges from signposting to organisations that can offer direct help to individuals to helping new groups to set up this can consist of constitutions, guidance on bank accounts, accounts funding and other resources. 

Grants

To established groups we can offer development advice, guidance on funding.  We also help run a community grants scheme for groups both new and established with a two tier system of starter grants and development grants.  We also have helped organise events including the Angels Parade, Halloween event and Carnival and this year’s festival.
