The Youth team
The Preston Road Youth Team are dedicated to helpying the younger people of the estate. They arrange trips, workshops and a full range of activities for the youth of the estate to get involved with.
Opening Times:
Monday: 4.30pm-7pm for 8 -11 year olds. 7.30-9.30+ for 13’s and over.
Tuesday: 6pm-8.30pm for 13’s and over.
Friday: 7pm-9.30pm fpr 13’s and over.
General activities
General activities including pool, table tennis, table football, video games, sound system, TV and DVD, Arts and Crafts as you want. Plus there is a fully equipped kitchen available.
Sexual Health Drop in:
Confidentially discuss all matters of sexual health with experienced staff from the WINNER Centre. This runs every Monday at 8pm.
Volunteers:
The Youth Team are always looking for volunteers to help them out with events. We would love to get your ideas on new sessions and different things that may be of interest to youth on the estate.
Youth Centre:
The new Youth Centre has just been completed on Preston Road and is due to open very soon. The Centre has various workshop rooms and meeting areas and will host regular events. |
